Mike Miller winter....

Winters in England are normally pretty cold, but we never get snow like we did this year. It was savage and it really made me feel for the guys who get a ton more than us. Anyway, back to the point. Due to having soo much snow for ages me and Miller decided to head to the indoor parks to get in some much needed riding and along the way we shot this short edit. enjoy - sam

Another Luke Towey post ...

DIGBMX Timecode 007: Luke Towey from SAM BARROW on Vimeo.

HAHA Luke isn't the only rider i film, i promise, but this week he got a few clips up for DIGBMX Timecodes. Check back soon for a Mike Miller edit!

Timecode number 7 features Tadley, UK resident Luke Towey. Luke had spotted this rail whilst driving through Oxford for work purposes. We drove back there to check it out as Luke had never done a rail through a tight gap and seemed pretty keen to give it a go. Upon arriving at the rail we had noticed that the run up was kinda off and the assistant of a nearby crate was needed to help maintain enough speed. This was not the only problem we encountered. The rail itself was super sticky and was grinding really poorly. With no wax or any shops open to purchase such product, we resorted to using mcdonalds cups. The waxy, waterproof layer made a great substitute and gave the rail all it needed to help Luke get to the end. Enjoy" - Sam

Brad simms

DIGBMX Timecode 6: Brad Simms from SAM BARROW on Vimeo.

I am going to be helping towards short edits on DIGBMX.com called timecodes. This idea previously started a while ago but kind of faded out pretty quickly and now Im going to bring it back to life with contributions from others Im sure.
These Timecode edits are pretty much a clip(s) of the week and are just thrown together as raw clips.

Timecode No.6 features none other than the world exploring, street shredder, Brad Simms. Brad came to stay with me for a few days during his travels of Europe. we planned to shoot a Web edit whilst he was in England but due to an unfortunate crash, filming got cut short.... on the first day. Here i have put together a few clips that we managed to get and the crash that messed up Brads freshly healed wrists. enjoy - sam

Farnborough Summer Mix - DIGBMX

FARNBOROUGH SUMMER MIX - DIGBMX.COM from SAM BARROW on Vimeo.

This edit was shot over summer of 2009. it was filmed at my local skatepark in Farnborough, Hampshire.
For such a small park in a small town the riding level that is seen here is amazing.

Riders include Ryan Winterbotham, Arrash saidi, Luke Towey, Jake Daw and Cameron Hardy.

Song: Miike Snow - Animals

Luke Towey DIGBMX Exclusive

LUKE TOWEY DIGBMX EXCLUSIVE from SAM BARROW on Vimeo.

This is probably my favourite edit so far.
This features Tadley resident Luke Towey who has recently parted ways with illegal bikes. We spent a few months meeting up every so often to film and every time was a treat. Luke would learn a trick or a combo on the smallest ramps in Basingstoke skate park then instantly tell me that he wanted to do it on a set up that would be alot bigger. whereas most people would take ages to take a trick and be able to do it on anything luke simply applys himself and gets the job done no matter of the risk. he just loves to ride, end of. enjoy
